The FY 2022 LSA Data Submission Schedule and Updated Submission Guide

The Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) 2.0 will open for Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA) uploads on November 1, 2022. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 LSA data submission process will begin with an Initial Upload Phase. During this time, communities are encouraged to make at least one upload attempt. The Initial Upload Phase will enable communities to acclimate to the HDX 2.0 interface, ensure the proper staff have permissions in the HDX 2.0, and allow communities to identify critical upload errors.

Communities will receive information in HDX 2.0 to help resolve upload errors. Data errors and warnings will be available for review once any upload errors are resolved. Communities may begin data cleaning during the Initial Upload Phase.

Date Description
November 1, 2022 HDX 2.0 officially opens for LSA uploads and outreach from Data Quality Liaisons begins.
November 18, 2022 End of Initial Upload Phase. All Continuums of Care (CoCs) should have uploaded at least one Official HUD Review File into HDX 2.0 by the end of the day on November 18, 2022.
December 26, 2022 – January 2, 2023 Winter Holiday Break Period. During this time, Data Quality Liaisons will not be available for support. CoCs will be able to continue uploading and cleaning their data.
January 11, 2023 Final deadline to resolve data quality flags with your assigned Data Quality Liaison and submit your data for final review.

HDX 2.0 Login Information

To access the HDX 2.0, you will first need to set up an account in the system.

You may need to update your password. From the login page, click on the link that reads “Forgot Your Password?” in blue text below the login text fields. If you have any questions related to logging into the HDX 2.0, please submit questions via the HUD Exchange Ask A Question (AAQ) portal.

Please Note: HDX 2.0 will be down from October 27 – October 31, 2022, in order to prepare for 2022 LSA data collection. If you need to upload or Stellavise an LSA dataset with the 2021 specifications, please do so by October 26, 2022.
