Giving
The collection basket will be passed around during the service. If you would like to give in this way and would like to gift aid your giving, please pick up a gift aid envelope on the connect table as you come in. You will also find the gift aid forms should you need to complete.
Missions Offering
As part of our missions month we take up an offering that means we can support projects beyond our regular, ongoing support. The month of October we will have an offering suitcase at the front of the church. Please pray and consider what you may be able to give to support the growth of God’s Kingdom around the world. This year we will be focusing our offering on supporting indigenous church planters in Africa and supporting the Bentley Family in Spain. You also can give online, referencing your payment 'Missions'.

A Word of Encouragement
We would like to share with you all the following words received from a member of the congregation. May they encourage and strengthen you over the coming weeks.
"We went to the school's bonfire/fireworks night last night and the fireworks were amazing! I felt God say sometimes we want to be like that, bright and colourful and doing something amazing and impressive, but it only lasts a moment. He wants us to shine in the darkness like the stars, faithful, constant, glorifying Him. It can be really hard to be like that in tough times but He says 'do not become weary in doing good for at the proper time you will reap a harvest."

Alpha Course

Today we are holding the seventh session of the Alpha course, entitled “How Does God Guide Us?”, and we would like to ask the Church to continue to pray for this venture.
Would you pray:
1. That the guests will have been able to implement a Bible reading plan.
2. For consistent attendance and health protection for the group.
3. That today the guests on the Alpha course will be open to guidance from God and the idea of God having a plan for their lives.

GROW Sessions - 1 Corinthians 12-14 Study

During our break from our G.I.F.T Groups which will resume in January 2023, we will be running teaching seminars over four weeks on 1 Corinthians 12-14 looking specifically at spiritual gifts. Please come and join us, booking is not required.

In His Presence Worship Evening

There is no Sparks Toddler Group this week due to half term.
Fireworks Kids Club and Wildfires Youth Group will also not be running this week due to half term. We will be back on 4th November for a Bonfire Night. More details to come. |

Youth Worship Club
Weekly from Saturday 5th November, 9:30am - 10:15am

We are excited to hold our first worship club for all the young people at church who would love to learn music and how to worship God through music. The club is open to all those 10 years old and upwards, from beginners to those with some experience in playing an instrument. You will have the chance to learn some worship songs and basic music theory on either guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard or vocals. So that your child can get the most out of taking part in forming a band they would need to commit to coming every Saturday possible.
If the date or time is not suitable please let Jose know about your child's interest and we will consider a more suitable time for all and if you have any other questions please also contact Jose. |

Community Outreach Activities

In Stitches - Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm
A fun, social group for people who like to stitch. Bring your own knitting, embroidery or another project. If you would like to learn we can teach you!
Bible Encounter - Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm
The group will meet to encourage, pray with one another and explore the Bible, expecting to encounter God through discussions. This is a great seeker-friendly group for those wanting to learn more about the bible.
Baby Club - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm (term time)
Family-focused coffee morning for expectant parents and parents with a new baby. Older siblings are welcome. Come along to this supportive group and connect with others in the community over a cup of tea or coffee.
High Tea - Thursdays (Last Thursday of each month), 2:30pm - 4pm
Come and experience High Tea at The Village Hub. Meet new friends, enjoy some great homemade delicacies while drinking a lovely cup of tea. £3 per head, please book a ticket from The Village Hub in advance.
Thursdays Together - Thursdays when we aren’t hosting High Tea, 2:30pm - 4pm
We would love to see you for a cuppa, come for a game or two, perhaps crafting, or just for a chat. You are very welcome to come along, invite a friend and join in.
Repair Cafe, Saturday 19th November (3rd Saturday of each month), 10am - 12pm
Don't throw away - fix it! Come along with any of your items that need mending.
