Faith Active in Love Box

In response to last week's sermon on accountability, you are encouraged to be mindful of ways you live out your faith and reflect Christ in the world. There is paper in the back of the Gathering Room for you to write down your acts of faith, and a box for you to put them in. They can be submitted anonymously. The hope of this exercise is twofold: 1) We believe your stories will be a source of encouragement and inspiration for others. 2) The box will serve as a type of accountability for you to intentionally live out your faith.

Thanksgiving Walk and Picnic
Date: Saturday, 11/26
Time: 10:30am-1:00pm
Where: Meet at church

Details: For those around over Thanksgiving weekend and looking to walk off a little turkey and pumpkin pie, we are planning a community walk along the stream way. Pack a lunch and we will enjoy a picnic together on the walk. If you have questions, please contact Leah Mothersill (leah.mothersill6@gmail.com).

Children's Ministry

Trunk or Treat
Date: Sunday, October 30th
Time: 4:00-5:30PM

This is a great opportunity for fellowship and to reach out to friends, families and neighbors.
It's not too late to host a trunk or a game--let us know if you're interested.
New this year--nachos! If you'd like, please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Adult Sunday School

Date: Every Sunday

Location: RSM/Youth Room

From October 9th through 30th, Pastor Jeff will be leading a Membership class. All are welcome to join. Mike is taking some time off from teaching to visit friends and family.

RSM/Youth Ministry

Date: Most Sundays during the school year
Time: 9:00AM
Location: Library

This term we will be looking at the Canon of Scripture, Church history, the tenets of the Reformation, and do Spiritual gifts assessments and consider application. The class is intended for young Christians grades 6,7 & 8 and any folks who would like to attend. (There are other adults attending.) Please speak with Larry Lang if you have any questions.

RSM Youth
Date: Every Wednesday
Time: 6:30pm
Location: RSM/Youth Room

Fall Events:
Middle School Fall Retreat (November 4-6)
High School Fall Retreat (November 18-20) Deadline to register is November 2.
Both retreats will be held at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp in Hordville, NE. We will plan on leaving shortly after they get out of school. Parents check your email for more details.
