Our team is looking for a part-time Content Marketing & Social Media Manager to help us grow AND we have a special invitation for local business and non-profit leaders to join us Thursday, November 3 at 11:30am for our 5th annual Community Builders’ Luncheon!

Family Focus Media offers a smart and flexible work environment that nurtures connection with dynamic websites, weekly newsletters, social media, events, and a growing suite of creative marketing services through Main Line Parent, Philadelphia Family, and Bucks County Parent.

We’re into Building Community in with local families, business owners, and non-profit leaders. We are seeking an organized individual who is excited by opportunity, who is curious, and eager to make a difference.

Content Marketing & Social Media Manager Opportunity

Family Focus Media is looking for a creative, inquisitive, and organized professional with top-notch communication skills to join our team. This is a dream job for a go-getter who is passionate about helping local parents find community and connecting them with family-focused business and non-profit leaders in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

This is a virtual, part-time (about 15 hours per week) 1099 Independent contractor position, and we are only interested in local candidates at this time. Candidates who include a cover letter introducing themselves and sharing why they would like to join our team will be given priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Content Director to create engaging content for our social media channels, email newsletters, and websites.

  • Foster relationships with local business and non-profit leaders who want to reach parents in their neighborhoods and beyond.

  • Support Community Facebook Groups with weekly virtual ice breakers and conversation starters.

  • Create Reels, albums, and short-form videos to attract and delight local parents on Instagram.

  • Assist in planning virtual and in person events for Members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Local (Philadelphia, Main Line / Western Suburb, and Bucks County) candidates only.

  • SOFTWARE: Experience with Google Suite, Instagam and Facebook Professional dashboards, Wordpress, and MailChimp or similar email marketing software is required.
