As part of the front-face of the charity, the Information & Welfare Advisor supports our customers and clients to prepare for later life, connect to opportunities to live active and fulfilled lives, understand their rights and entitlements and get independent advice or hands-on help and support when challenges get too much.

As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will have a caseload of up to 20 clients. You will help support your clients (who are on their mental health recovery journey) to secure and retain paid employment. Whether our clients want to work a couple of hours a week, or full-time, we help them to go back into employment, which is so rewarding. This may involve supporting your clients with tasks such as: searching for local job vacancies; helping them with the CV, cover letter or application form; providing them with interview skills and supporting them once they are in work.

At Better Together Norfolk you will be responsible for helping clients that suffer from social Isolation and Loneliness by working to re-integrate them with the community and tackling the causes of isolation and loneliness. Working closely with clients you will understand their support needs, build a support plan and with hand holding support work with your clients to reintegrate them into the community.

These roles provide the opportunity to help hundreds of people to cope with the current cost of living and energy crisis, they may also involve giving more generalised advice to a wide range of people via various platforms (digitally and face to face). The Estates and Facilities Manager will monitor and control the day‐to‐day work on Norfolk and Waveney Mind sites undertaken by contractors and ensure planned maintenance activities are completed on schedule and within budget, and that urgent repairs are completed within approved timescales. The successful candidate will ensure that all statutory and mandatory requirements relating to Estates and Facilities are met.

St Martins, has a vacancy for a Senior Support Worker at Bishopbridge House, St Martin’s 30-bed direct access hostel.  The hostel aims to provide an effective life skills and resettlement service for single homeless people. The post holder will assess residents’ abilities and develop an achievable resettlement action plan for individual residents, involving them and getting them to work together with other residents where appropriate and review progress of assigned residents.
