Hey Fam,
I decided to take a lighter workload last week to attempt to catch up on sleep. Although I wasn’t able to sleep much, I failed to follow up after Luke 18.
First off, IT WAS GREAT! Most teens fully participated, and have informed me that it was a great experience for them as well. I cannot thank all of our teens and adults who have made that retreat possible.
Secondly, during Luke 18, we talked about how to keep the fire for Christ alive by having an active prayer life, seeking the sacraments regularly, and joining a Youth Ministry.
We would like to invite ALL 8th graders and High schoolers to join us at IMPACT. We have programs twice a week, and will have 2 more retreats before the next school year.
YES, not only do we meet once a month for the ROCK [specifically for Confirmation prep], but we also want you to come every Wednesday for Disciples [reading and talking about the Sunday’s readings] and the other Sundays [where we talk about our faith and issues surrounding teenage life].
