Cayuga Bird Club Meeting: Our trip to southern Ecuador
Monday, November 14, 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
Cornell Lab Visitor Center
In August 2022, 10 birders traveled to southern Ecuador for 2 weeks of adventure. It was a country new to most of them, and it was filled with an awe-inspiring array of topography, habitats, and birds. Several participants will share their photos, insights, and impressions of the trip. Come hear what it was like to bird from sea level on the Pacific coast, in dry thorn forest, wet cloud forest, and high-elevation paramo habitat above 13,000 feet in the Andes.
Cayuga Bird Club meetings are on the second Monday of each month, September through June, and are open to the public. Meetings will begin with the speaker's presentation, followed by club business.
