Meet in the Cornell Lab Visitor Center. We will read either outside on the back patio or in Adelson Library depending on the weather.

November's Family Story Time will be all about owls! We will read a few classics, sing some songs, and craft some owl masks. You can expect to learn all about the adaptations, habitats, and behaviors of these unique birds. Books are pre-school age appropriate, but older or younger siblings are welcome!

Cayuga Bird Club Meeting: Our trip to southern Ecuador

Monday, November 14, 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
Cornell Lab Visitor Center

In August 2022, 10 birders traveled to southern Ecuador for 2 weeks of adventure. It was a country new to most of them, and it was filled with an awe-inspiring array of topography, habitats, and birds. Several participants will share their photos, insights, and impressions of the trip. Come hear what it was like to bird from sea level on the Pacific coast, in dry thorn forest, wet cloud forest, and high-elevation paramo habitat above 13,000 feet in the Andes.

Cayuga Bird Club meetings are on the second Monday of each month, September through June, and are open to the public. Meetings will begin with the speaker's presentation, followed by club business.
The Cornell Lab of Ornithology Visitor Center is open every day, 10 a.m. to 4p.m.
The trails at Sapsucker Woods are open every day, dawn to dusk.
