Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday celebrated on November 1 and 2 (primarily in Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage) to honor deceased ancestors and loved ones.  This day is often celebrated by setting up an "ofrenda" (altar) with pictures and items of remembrance for passed loved ones.

All students and their families are welcome to bring pictures or copies of pictures of deceased loved ones to display on our school ofrenda.  Please be sure to write the name of your student(s) on the back of the picture so we can later return it to its proper owner.
