Davies and Mendel brothers make their mark
Round 4 for the Men and Round 5 for the Women has been run and won in another breathtaking weekend of Premier Cricket.
Our Men had a stelar weekend and sit top of the Club Championship ladder. Some big tests in the coming weeks but with our batting firing across the grades and plenty of troops still to come back, we are sitting in a pretty position.
Especially pleasing to see 2 of our sets of brothers do well this Round with Joel Davies leading PGs to another win, Ollie Davies hitting a 1st Grade century, and the Medel brothers, Keelan and Bryn, both hitting 100s.
Brewer Shield, our Women's U/18 team, had another strong win with great contributions from across the team, and great to see skipper Caitlin du Preez seeing the team home with the bat.
W2s and W1s both came up short against the dominant Sydney Club but will both be better for the run, especially W1s who only just lost by 1 run.
We sit 3rd in the Women's Club Championship.
