YOUR RSVP IS NEEDED BY THIS SUNDAY FOR DECEMBER 27 RECEPTION!

Thank you to everyone who has already responded with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for the meal following the December 27 Hierarchical Liturgy welcoming Bishop Gerasim, celebrating our patron saint, and recognizing the 50th anniversary of Fr John Ealy’s ordination to the priesthood. If you haven’t done so, please respond by this Sunday!

The reception will include a catered meal, so those planning the event need to know how much food to order and how many tables to set up.

The Hierarchical Liturgy will begin at 9:30am, with recognitions prior to dismissal. Immediately after the Liturgy, tables and chairs will be set up in the Nave, with the Altar area closed off with partitions.

Please review your holiday plans and submit with your RSVP “Yes” or “No” by this Sunday, October 30th to Gust Mecera at gust.mecera@gmail.com, so reception plans can be finalized.

SEND US YOUR PHOTO FOR THE NEW DIRECTORY!
Work has begun on the 2023 Parish Directory, and a current photo is needed of you or your family to include in the Directory!

We know you probably have dozens of family photos on your smartphone or your social media account that look great and could be used in the parish directory. Please pick your favorite, and submit it by Monday, November 21, following these new guidelines:

  • The photo should be current.

  • Photos should only include minor children (when applicable) who also attend St. Stephen’s.

  • If you are part of a family that attends St. Stephen’s, but are now an adult also attending St. Stephen’s, please submit you own photo for your own listing.

  • If you want a photo taken at church, send an email to annmarie.mecera@gmail.com to make arrangements.

  • Please text or email your photo by Monday, November 21 to Ann Marie Mecera (614-370-4162 or annmarie.mecera@gmail.com.)

YOUNG PARENTS OUTING THIS SUNDAY
Young parents with children are invited to go to dinner together this Sunday, October 30 at 6pm. Parents should meet at the church where child care will be provided. Dinner will be at the AC Sky Bar at 333 S. Garland Ave., Orlando, 32801. This is a rooftop restaurant with 360° views of Orlando!

Want to help with the child care? Please let Fr. Daniel know! (407-388-4241, frdaniel@ststephenoca.com)

CLEANING & PAINTING CREWS NEEDED!

A cleaning and painting day is planned for Saturday, October 29 beginning at 9am. Please help beautify the church with polishing, cleaning, chair repair, and painting.

If you have supplies, please bring them with you, especially irons for removing wax from the carpeting. The more people who show up, the quicker the work can be completed! Your help in beautifying our temple is a worthy ministry! Questions? Contact Gust Mecera at 614-370-4162 or gust.mecera@gmail.com. Thank you!

IMPORTANT ROOFING MESSAGE
