It is with immense sadness that I have to let you know that Geoff Bond, our President, passed away yesterday afternoon. He battled heart problems for many years.

For all that knew him Bondi was a larger than life character who served the club for over 40 years: first as a player, then as a coach and finally as Club President. His passion for rugby and our club was immeasurable. This coupled with his humour and positivity made him a true force of nature, both on and off the field of play.

We will miss him terribly and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Lesley and his two children, Nicola and Andrew (Buster) and their families.
