EC Fan Motors Continue To Be Available
Colmac Coil made a strategic decision to maintain a large quantity of electronically commutated (EC) fan motors in a variety of sizes to be able to meet the demand of the market. EC fan motors are the default fan motor for A+Series® A+S, A+M, and A+L Industrial Air Coolers, and all configurations of Colmac Coil Fluid Coolers and Condensers.
EC fan motors are a complete fan/motor assembly which includes a highly engineered fan and bell mouth matched to an EC motor. The EC motor is a brushless DC motor with on-board programmable speed control.

Project Highlight: Fluid Cooler For Food Processing Plant
This flat deck fluid cooler in a vertical configuration manufactured for an onion processing plant is built with ten efficient EC fan motors that provide built in fan speed control, large airflow capacities, corrosion resistant fans, and all individual fan motors are factory wired to a common UL listed enclosure.
Colmac Coil Fluid Coolers and Condensers are ready for installation from the factory, including optional stainless-steel flanges designed for an easier installation at the job site. Stainless steel tubes, galvanized steel housing, and thick aluminum fins were chosen for an industrial design. Many leg heights are available to match the requirements needed for the application.
