Graduate musicology/sound studies student Mark Mahoney will kick off the evening with an overview of contemporary practices reading visual art as a musical score. Then, DMA composition students María Bulla and Joshua Biggs will present their new pieces composed for the ensemble that explore this practice. Bethe active citizen (n.): a generally awesome returning Bethe resident who adds to the community through informal engagement and as a fun neighbor. The ACs are guaranteed a bed in Bethe for 2023-2024. ACs serve three semesters (beginning Spring 2023) and current Active Citizens must reapply if they wish to continue next year.
Only current Bethe House (North, South, & McFaddin) residents are eligible to be Bethe House Active Citizens. Steps to Apply:
