A new FREE online monthly collection of short stories starring Earnest the Pig and all the other goofballs, wise donkeys and animals you've come to know...and of course, Mrs. Dunn.
Tails & Tales showcases my short stories...think E.B.White's tone, Pooh Bear's heart, and a splash of Rumi. Mrs. Dunn shares her conversations with the animals, and the calm wisdom of Earnest the pig combined with the troublesome Pickles and Puddles, and other goats, will bring smiles, and ponderings. The wise old donkey has arrived, and of course Paco the resident Donkey Poet partakes. The farm is a stage for life, death, love, fear, and many lessons. Illustrated.

I hope to create some kind of subscription service for this [it would be very inexpensive, just to help offset web fees].

I hope you will take a look!
Peso the old donkey continues to share his love and calm heart with all who get to meet him. We adore him and are so glad we could help out his loving family who were heartbroken to give him up when they were forced to move. Peso is 34. Teddy continues to be a love ambassador and now that cooler weather is here he will be going out on visits more. You can see lots of beautiful photos of the animal and elder visits at my main site.
If you love The Goofballs, be sure to follow the Instagram feed, as we post lots of fun videos! They will make you happy.
Just today, we said goodbye to the oldest cat in the suite, Inky, who was over 20. All the elder cats in the suite come from the shelter, and Inky's owners died and he had to be placed there-a common occurrence. Catfish [the red tabby] was there to protect Inky knowing I would come and help care for his burial. Inky was so stoic and sweet, he liked to ride on my shoulders. He hung on for a long time, but we are so grateful he had a peaceful death surrounded by those he knew, windows of light and beautiful fall colors all around him.
In other news: Harry's new Lovey Mobile should be into shipment this coming week! Stay tuned. Katherine was the featured artist in Nov/Dec issue of Spirituality & Health Magazine with an interview and art featured throughout the issue; Apifera Farm and Katherine were also guests on The Maine Conversation podcast-we recorded it in the barnyard. It should be online soon.
New card design available-visit the shop
Don't forget to pour a cup of tea, and read some short stories at Tails & Tales. I'd love to hear from readers too! As would Earnest the pig.
Donations help us maintain the animals and elder visits~ Thank you!
