Events for strengthening your entrepreneurial ecosystem

This one is for agricultural enterprise lenders in Missouri! This University of Missouri Extension seminar will share information on topics that affect your lending decisions and your farm clients’ success, including a review of the 2023 farm enterprise budgets. Also, get an outlook on input costs, an agency update from the Farm Service Agency, funding for agricultural enterprises available from Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority and more.

This panel discussion featuring regional venture investors, Scale VC and Farmhand Ventures will address building generalist and sector-specific startup communities that play to regional strengths, the pros and cons of different approaches to startup fundraising, and developing early stage capital to support startups from within and beyond our networks.

Lack of access to the internet and the technologies necessary for startup entrepreneurial success has been and continues to be a challenge to low-income entrepreneurs. This session is co-presented by the Usher Garage, No-Where Consultants and PCs for People Kansas City as a facilitated workshop for information on the 2022 Heartland Challenge Project: Digital Equity for Emerging Entrepreneurs.
Participants will learn more about the Digital Readiness Assessment, local ESOs who are specifically focused on the success of emerging and informal entrepreneurs, tools for digital transformation and economic mobility and the experiences of these entrepreneurs as they seek to grow their businesses.
