Immigration and Visas

NPA Webinar

November 2nd at 1PM ET

The session will cover the types of visas used by postdoctoral researchers. Learn about self-sponsored applications, J-1 waivers and other visas, such as the F1 (OPT) and J-1 visas (including J1 waivers), and H-1B/O-1/TN. The webinar will also cover what to do after your postdoc, as you move through your career transitions. Brendan Delaney, Esq, will discuss the type of issues that the postdocs face in terms of visa transition and how you can build a CV/resume for purposes of a self-sponsored application in order to continue your career development and/or transition to an employment position. He will also review the recent guidance that was published relating to STEM, and how this affects certain visa applications. The webinar will leave you with some practical information and allow some time for general questions.
