Dear Valued Service Provider,

Welcome to your November e-bulletin, where we look at the recently released budget, summarise a recent Department of Health and Aged Care's consultation paper, and more. As usual, we have added relevant Sector events, with new events added every week. There are many consultation opportunities with the Sector at the moment, so make sure you visit the Aged Care Engagement Hub when you get a chance! Take care.

Your Side launches Reconciliation Action Plan
On another note, I am so excited to announce that Your Side has recently launched its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). It represents our commitment, born from the need to understand and deliver culturally safe care within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and to trust, respect and learn about care from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that the broader Australian community will benefit from. Read more here. As we officially embark into this journey of learning and reflection, we join hundreds of organisations who have developed their RAP. Will you join us?
