Creative Conference
The SQ Creative Conference was held at Springwood SDA Church last weekend.
It was an inspiring event as guest speakers from our very own churches from around the South Queensland Conference shared their stories, gave practical tips and advice, and encouraged us all to develop our creative skills and implement them in our own churches and communities.
Three members from our church shared their creative stories at the conference. Tyler Colquhoun shared about our Gold Coast Central Drama group, and together with Sally Bailey and Tiarna Lewis, did a mind-provoking short skit (which we will see today as they perform it during our service). Steve Kane talked about the skills of mentoring others and how to be a good mentee. A subject that he is well educated on. Finally, Darelle Hunt shared her creative story on how she began in Children’s Ministries and her passion for writing and singing children’s songs.
It was such a blessing to attend, and many watched online through the Adventist South Queensland Facebook page or YouTube channel. You can catch up and watch all or any of the creative speakers through these pages.
