Please join us for an exclusive event with our colleagues at Giarmarco, Mullins, & Horton, P.C. Trusts and Estates Practice Group to learn more about charitable tools for Catholic clients and IRA distribution rules. Refreshments and program will begin promptly at noon, with time to connect and network with other local attorneys, accountants and advisors.
The seminar will begin with a brief review of charitable IRA rollover pitfalls to be avoided. It will then examine the advantages and disadvantages of leaving IRAs to donor advised funds, private foundations, charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts. Salvatore J. LaMendola will be the presenter.

About the Speaker
Salvatore J. LaMendola has been a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group at Giarmarco, Mullins and Horton, P.C. since 1996, and a member of the LL.M. adjunct law faculty at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School since 2016. He focuses his practice on basic estate planning, post-death trust administration, planning for retirement plan benefits, and modifying irrevocable trusts via trust “decanting” and other techniques.
