Birthday Greetings for His Holiness

Bön Shen Ling warmly invites you to join an online celebration of the birthday of His Holiness 34^th Gyalwa Menri Wa on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10am Eastern Time on Zoom.

The celebration will be streamed from Bön Shen Ling’s New York center with His Holiness in attendance. The ceremony will begin with Chongtul Rinpoche, Khenpo Tenzin Dhargye, and Tsa Tsa Rinpoche offering the long life mandala and wishes to His Holiness. Video clip greetings from notable Lamas and Bön Centers will be shared next, followed by live wishes from other Lamas and Bön Centers.

Bön Shen Ling welcomes participation by all Bön teaching centers and Bön community centers from around the world. If your center wishes to participate, please promptly register online and email Bön Shen Ling your group’s name and country. Bön Shen Ling will be in touch regarding the designated representative for each group. Each group or representative should have a nice long white khata to offer as they greet His Holiness and share their birthday greeting.

The ceremony will conclude with the Lamas chanting a dedication.

His Holiness will give the teaching of Self Awareness blessing from the ancient Bön tradition as suited for a modern audience. Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche will interpret the teaching live from Tibetan into English.
