- Halloween scavenger hunt at the Point Reyes Farmers Market on Saturday
- A Día de los Muertos celebration starts on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the field outside Ernesto’s Studio in Point Reyes Station, followed by a procession through town to the community altar at the Rotary Peace Garden at Toby’s for a special ceremony.

Weekend Events

Friday
- The Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this weekend. Weekend activities include hayrides, pony rides, live music, barbecue, face painting and more.
- Free Covid-19 rapid take-home tests are available for pickup for people who live or work in West Marin from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Fridays at West Marin Community Services.
- The Boo-Linas Folk Fest features Ft. Ismay + Kacie Hill + Ziemba outdoors at 6 p.m. at Smiley’s Schooner Saloon, in Bolinas. $10 tickets at www.smileyssaloon.com.
- Tim O’Neil plays from 6 to 8 p.m. on the creekside patio at Due West, in Olema. No cover.
- The Ed Early Band plays the blues at 7:30 p.m. at Rancho Nicasio. $15. Reservations required at www.ranchonicasio.com.
- A country night at the Western Saloon features Le Fuckaroos, the Jeff Manson Band and Kelly McFarling at 8 p.m. at the Old Western Saloon, in Point Reyes Station. $10 at the door.
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show screens at 8 p.m. at the Tomales Town Hall. Sliding-scale donation. Come in costume if you like.
Saturday
- The Point Reyes Farmers Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Toby’s Feed Barn. Story Kushner plays music on the outdoor stage at 9:30 a.m.
- Michael Stocker, founding director of Ocean Conversation Research and an internationally recognized expert on marine acoustics, discusses “The Wonder of Ocean Sounds” from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Bolinas Museum. Free and family friendly. Details at www.bolinasmuseum.org.
- A Día de los Muertos celebration starts at 4 p.m. in the field outside Ernesto’s Studio in Point Reyes Station, followed by a procession through town to the community altar at the Rotary Peace Garden at Toby’s for a special ceremony. Free; please bring flowers, pictures or mementos of loved ones who have passed to add to the altar.
- Brenda Hillman and Robert Hass celebrate the release of Hillman’s new collection, “In a Few Minutes Before Later,” at 4 p.m. at the Dance Palace Community Center. Free; donations welcome. Presented by Point Reyes Books. Register at www.ptreyesbooks.com.
