Tuesday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m. – Topics in American History: The Evolution of the American Two-Party System. This discussion-oriented presentation will explore the development of the party system in American politics. The November session (Session 1) will trace the growth of several political parties from the debates over Independence and the Constitution, to the outbreak of the Civil War.

Friday, November 4 at 4:00 p.m. – Author Event: Linda Hansen. Otto the Otter, A Big Surprise is a wonderful, engaging way for children 4-8 years old to learn about nature and the life cycle. Linda Hansen’s story is beautifully told and illustrated. Children and adults will be enchanted! Books will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.

Beginning October 24 through November 5 (excluding October 30) St. Pete Beach Public Library will be a ballot drop off location for the General election on November 8, 2022.
The ballot box will be accompanied by two election officials during the following hours: Monday-Friday: 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. If you would like to drop off your mail-in ballot, please bring it to the library during those hours.
