Notice of Proposed Amendments to the Evergreen Chapter CMAA Bylaws
In accordance with Evergreen Bylaws 10.5, notice is hereby given that the following amendments to the Bylaws will be presented for a vote of Professional Members present at the Annual Meeting on November 9, 2020 at 3pm.
5.3 Board Members’ Term of Office. Each Director shall serve a term of two (2) years. The terms of the Directors shall be staggered. A Director may voluntarily resign or be removed by the Board of Directors at any time. A Director may, if reelected, serve for one (1) additional termadditional terms.
7.2 Officers term of Office.
A. Each officer of the Chapter shall serve a term of one (1) year commencing January 1, except that:
(a) he/she may resign at any time.
(b) The Board may remove such officer at any time for inactivity, nonsupport, or other good cause shown. Each officer may be reelected or elected to a different office as long as such person is a member of the Board. No officer may serve more than two (2) consecutive terms in the same position
4.2. Membership Dues and Assessments. All dues and assessments shall become payable by the first last day of January each year and shall be for the calendar year.
7.2 C. Secretary/Treasurer. There shall be a Secretary/Treasurer of the Chapter whose duties it shall be to approve and sign all Chapter checksall chapter disbursements. They shall advise the Board of Directors regarding the Chapter’s financial status and be responsible for presenting an annual report of the Chapter’s finances to the membership at the Annual Meeting.
