These seems to be some confusion on the rules of this contest. Either they were misstated or have changed, but isn't this project more for the recycling than the thrill of victory?  First of all, the Van Dyne Lions Club is donating the bench to be given away, so they already collected 500 pounds of plastic.  Many clubs have sources of great quantities of plastic while other do not.  Some clubs are real go getters and have taken this project seriously.  So, to come up with a fair solution, or maybe this was the rules in the first place, clubs will be given one ticket for every 50 pounds of plastic brought in.  Since there will not be a scale by the trailer at the convention, this contest will be entirely on the honor system as to how many pounds your club brings in.  Every club who brings in something will receive one ticket for their first 50 pounds.  We are sorry about any confusion or change of rules.
