ST VINCENT DE PAUL 5TH SUNDAY COLLECTION

Second Collection at Masses this weekend to help those in need
Last month, St. Vincent de Paul helped six local families with rent and rent deposits to avoid being evicted. This weekend, St. Vincent de Paul will be hosting their 5th Sunday collection at all the Masses. Please be as generous as possible to help other families who are experiencing similar hardships and financial despair. Thank you for your support.

Collection for Veterans - October 29 to November 13
We are collecting items for the long-term patients at the Palo Alto Veteran’s Hospital. Some of the patients do not have family or friends in the area to buy them basic items and they sometimes arrive without anything.  We will be collecting underwear, undershirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and baseball caps.  All items must be new.  The underwear must be in unopened packages. Sizes L and XL are needed. This is a wonderful way to remember our veterans and to say “thank you” for their service.  Please mark your donations “for vets” and place them in the wooden boxes at the entrances of the church.
