beautiful bows by Boucher and Trifari - superb example of the MB 1945 double bow swirls design, unplated sterling & square cut aqua stones, with advert, joining a gold plated variant on site; never seen before Trifari 1940-41 two colour gold bowknot, similar to a patented Wuyts design; never here before 1947 MB Boucher gold and pave bowknot, superb and intricate openwork; 1953 patented Boucher moveable bowknot or wings pin, in smart blue and white baguette stripes...

the most fantastic figurals... 1944 Jelly Belly Sterling tree frog, as seen in the great Brunialti books, never here before in all these years... rarest of all Coro Bird duettes, lovebirds in gold and sapphire, not patented, but marked with a 1954 'Pat Pend' target seen on actually patented items... MB Boucher Sterling 1943-44 Bird of Paradise, a stunningly simple design, using the same fancy cut stone as the Jewels of Fantasy Peony linked above... inimitable Coro Katz Spinning Wheel pin, patent applied for in 1947, and granted, as then usual, almost a year later...

more fascinating vintage jewels - 1930s Coro copy of a KTF Jewels of India piece (on site), apparently re-casting the top part of the Philippe Leaf pin, mirroring it to make a symmetry (something Coro was certainly not above doing throughout the 30s and early 40s - as seen in their copies of Dujay and Mazer designs - imitation as sincerest flattery, perhaps); Coro Sterling 1945 'Siren' face mask clip earrings, with advert, a rare series seen in Brunialti, but never here before; Korda Thief of Bagdad tiny but perfect fortune teller, joining the big version on site... and rare and spectacular Trifari Philippe Leaf or Plume in gold and baguettes, huge pin, with 1951 patent...

there's more to see of course - in our full, 21 item, update this Sunday evening

N&N's Research Discoveries page has a useful archive of these illustrated update emails, going back to January 2020 - you can catch up there on missed emails.

All our best...
