Christmas Cut-off Dates

 
We have been working tirelessly to ensure that we will have artwork ready for Christmas! We recommend you give yourself ample time for your order, allowing for framing and delivery.

Australian customers, if you require shipping, please get your orders in by Monday, 12 December. We’ll deliver items sent after these dates as quickly as we can, but they may not arrive until after Christmas. If you’d like to secure something now with a deposit, and have it shipped or collected closer to Christmas, just give us a call on (03) 9642 5455 or send us an email, and we can help you out!

We strongly advise Melbourne customers to select Click & Collect from either of our galleries instead of having their order shipped. This will save you a lot of time and will ensure you get your artwork ASAP!

To our international friends – thank you for your custom! It is best to order ASAP so we can ship in time.  We are working on sending items for an additional charge via DHL, so get in touch for a quote!

In memoriam for Martin Harris, a wonderfully talented and unique artist who through his enchanting work created a window for all, inviting us into his enchanting and magic filled dreamscapes. Many of you may have discovered his creations through the solo exhibitions with us since 2000 or his adored annual Christmas cards.

In his own words, "My pictures attempt to lift the veil as it were so that others may glimpse this ‘other world’. My fascination and love of children’s picture books, comics, toys, 1960s television (Thunderbirds, Dr Who, and Pinky & Perky to name but a few) combined with my childhood memories and my love of animals are the basis and inspiration for my art."

Harris' ability to spark joy while producing work authentic to his vision was a marvel to encounter, the detail rich and vibrant paintings resonated with so many. An incredibly generous and gentle person who described his practice, "to bring delight or joy to others is the most rewarding of experiences." Knowing the immense glee and wonder that Martin Harris evoked for the followers of his creative career we hope to continue to represent his work while staying true to the practice and memory of our dear friend.

Join us and friends of Martin for drinks to celebrate his life, work and legacy. All welcome at the event. No RSVP required.

We will be offering 'Memories of Christmas Gone By' - a collection of assorted Christmas card designs from Martin Harris.

Custom Framing
Take a look!
We have a great range of stylish and affordable frames. Drop by with your favourite photos or prints, and we will provide a quote on the spot. We encourage customers to come by on weekdays for framing quotes, as weekends can be quite busy and may have longer wait times. The turnaround time for framing is currently 1-2 weeks – please allow for extra time if you are wanting something framed this week. 

We are also regularly updating our website to include photos of our framed prints – like this Chris Turnham print in our Teak Retro frame!

Wednesday, 30 November is the last day to submit custom framing orders for the year. Our framing workshop will be closed over the Christmas break and will reopen mid-January 2023.
