Thanks to your generous support, Arapohue Retreat is truly fulfilling it's purpose now. We have taken in a very traumatised young mother who has suffered shocking abuse, and are working with her to help get her life back on track and see her reunited with her children.
Arapohue Retreat represented at a powerful networking opportunity with local community agencies - the Let's Connect Expo in Dargaville hosted by SOS Kaipara. A valuable opportunity where we made some key connections.
Arapohue Retreat hosted testimony podcasters Joel & Laura Hillary from The Jesus Magnet. While here, they recorded testimonies inc Georgina Curtis-Connelly, Olivia Harawira, Ralph & Sarah Tittleton, David Curle, Ray Curle and Janet Curle. (We'll share the other links when we get them)

You're welcome to come out and volunteer any time. But if you're not local and would like to volunteer and you have building skills or gardening experience, we can provide food and accommodation. We're only looking for ONE person for each residential volunteer role. Arapohue Retreat is drug and alcohol-free (inc nicotine + vapes). NON-SMOKERS only.
