Ukraine, Russia, and the
Quaker Peace Testimony
During FCNL’s October Quaker Changemaker event, “Ukraine, Russia, and the Quaker Peace Testimony,” Tim Gee, general secretary for the Friends World Committee for Consultation, and Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge, director of the Quaker United Nations Office in Geneva, discussed their recent trip through Central Europe. Their discussion was based on their personal experience and witness and was rooted in Quaker history and wisdom. Along with FCNL General Secretary Bridget Moix, Tim and Nozizwe reflected on the role that Quakers can play as peacebuilders as the war in Ukraine escalates.
Friends can view this discussion in full on the FCNL YouTube channel at: Ukraine, Russia, and the Quaker Peace Testimony - YouTube
Friends may be led to join the FCNL campaign to keep open the lines of diplomacy at: Friends Committee on National Legislation | Condemn Russia's Nuclear Threats and Press for Diplomacy to End the War in Ukraine (quorum.us)
Friends can read the new October 26, 2022 Statement on the Peace Testimony and Ukraine at: Statement on the Peace Testimony and Ukraine | Friends Committee On National Legislation (fcnl.org)

Supporting Gifts
Supporting Gifts to the Orlando Monthly Meeting are very important. They provide the basis for our financial support and for our continued existence as a Quaker Meeting. While it is true our community has the great benefit of a financial legacy provided to us from the generous and wise Friends of the past, we nevertheless have a duty to protect the legacy for the future. Your support gifts, of any size, will add to the effort to preserve our legacy and enable the Orlando Monthly Meeting of The Religious Society of Friends to continue serving Friends now and beyond our time.
Gifts may be made in person at the Meeting House or by mail. To use credit cards, debit cards or Paypal, simply click on the DONATE image below, or go to orlandoquakers.org where any menu page, such as "About Us," will have a DONATE button for making a single or recurring contribution. If you choose to use mail instead of PayPal for your donations to OMM, please send checks (payable to “Orlando Monthly Meeting”) directly to the Meeting House: Orlando Monthly Meeting, 316 E. Marks St, Orlando FL, 32803.
