In 2019 when Esther became the director of Child Evangelism Fellowship, or CEF, in Omaha, she needed guidance to lead.
"I had told my board, 'I know how to work with kids, but I don't know how to lead an organization. I need help in that area.' Then the pandemic hit and I thought, 'I did not sign up for this!'"
Then Esther was connected with Momentum, a ministry of MyBridge, which invests in Christian leaders and the organizations they lead!
"Three weeks earlier I had written in my journal, 'God, I haven't gotten the help I need, we're in a pandemic, we can't even do ministry in the way I know how to do ministry right now. And I have this team of people... I didn't know how to help them do what they were supposed to do.' I hit a leadership ceiling."
The investment of Momentum helped Esther clarify the ministry's vision, execute their mission, and break through that leadership ceiling! It was the answer to her prayer!
"God puts the right people in your life to empower you to do the things He's called you to do. I can't even say how invaluable it's been. I've broke through a ceiling as a leader. I knew these were the things I had to do to push the ministry forward, not just do the ministry."
