MWS ACT & Region enjoyed a lovely pre-Xmas catchup party

Long COVID risk similar for kids and adults: Study | RACGP

Congratulations To Dr Barbara Woodhouse, Oro-Maxillofacial Surgeon – Queensland Finalist For The 2023 Australian Of The Year

She has worked tirelessly as an advocate, pioneer and leader in her field. Many AFMW members will have met Barbara in New York, at the MWIA Centennial in 2019 where she attended with other QMWS and AFMW members. There is also a guest book, administered by her colleague Dr Anna Raymond, where photos and messages of congratulations can be made and viewed (see the QRD code). The Australian Federation of Medical Women is a not for profit, politically neutral, non sectarian, non government organisation that seeks to improve the health of all Australians, especially the health of women and children. Membership is open to registered female medical practitioners, non-registered female medical practitioners & medical students. New members welcome.

Our eBulletin is sent to all AFMW members and supporters to keep you informed and up to date. Most AFMW events and activities are open to all AFMW members and non-members alike. If you are not yet a member and wish to join, we welcome new members to apply.
