Ebenezer Haile, Ingraham High Shooting Victim

NW Friends and Members,

Ebenezer Haile was the victim of a school shooting on November 8 at Ingraham High School. The family is Christian and was in need of a larger facility to host their son’s funeral.

We are honored to serve in this fashion and have agreed to host this funeral on Saturday, November 19, immediately following the distribution of Holiday Feast bags to the community.

We need some help to support their physical needs and also our janitorial needs. Many of those in attendance are Ethiopian, and having any of our members who speak Amharic would be helpful. Here are our needs with a registration form to volunteer:

• 11:30 - 2:00  Helping support the arrival of guests, food, etc. (6-8 people)
• 2:00 - 3:30  Assisting with fellowship setup for post-burial. (6 - 8 people)
• 3:30 - 6:00  Assisting during a fellowship and (6-8 people)
• 6:00  - 8:00  Final clean-up/reset   (8-10 people)

They are providing all of the food and the program, and we are providing them with the space and logistical support. Kent Landrum and Chris Goldman will be on site to help and direct. The Ethiopian Full-Gospel Church members will also be there to help, but we want to honor them through service.
