What is the Creative Biosphere project? It’s a yearlong, multi organisational, cultural and educational project with the biosphere reserve at its core. Five local High Schools have been partnered with both an Island Arts Organisation or Museum, and also a professional artist.

The Island wide project has aiming to teach teens about The Islands Biosphere Reserve Status in order for them to use creative ways to teach the rest of the Islands residents.

As part of the project this weekend is the highly anticipated ‘Takeover Weekend’ where students ‘takeover’ the venues.
