Kids are the leaders of today and tomorrow!

Children First Canada wishes you and the children you know and love a wonderful National Child Day! Today is an opportunity reflect on progress made to implement Canada's commitments to honour the rights of 8 million kids in Canada and mobilize action to address the gaps that remain.

Did you know that Canada recently ranked 48th on the Global Child Rights Index?

Kids are facing big challenges right now and they need our support! An unprecedented paediatric crisis is unfolding across the country, putting children's lives at risk. Students are experiencing further disruptions to their education due to illness and labour disputes. Kids need strong leadership from our federal and provincial governments.

95% of Canadians support government to make children and youth a priority!

Share our call to action with the Prime Minister and your Premier and ask them to put #ChildrenFirst!

What gives us hope is that kids themselves are leading the way. On Tuesday 20,000 students across Canada joined us to rally for their rights with the largest National Child Day event in history! They spoke up for their generation and called on federal and provincial leaders to take action!
