Staff Spot Light
Meet our amazing behavior support team.  This team does an outstanding job of support student Social Emotional needs.  

The staff at Clearview is welcoming and helpful, the kids and the environment are what makes this school amazing.  Sarah appreciates how enjoyable they everyday enjoyable for staff and students. I went to school for Criminal Justice.  Crafting and the Cricut machine brings her joy.  Anything Cricut, sign her up! 

Clearview is one big family, and that is why Jackie loves being part of the Clearview community.Jackie has a passion for animals especially her puppy, Nora.  She is the light of her life.  Laughter throughout the day, laughter in the small moments and the stressful moments brings her joy. 

 Anna loves being at Clearview, and she loves that Clearview works as a team.  Everyone works together to make sure the students are successful. An interesting fact about Anna is that she loves to read which is why being at the library is what brings her joy. She loves to read Romance and Historical Fiction.

Things to Know 
  • Classrooms at Clearview Elementary go outside for recess unless the air temperature or wind child temperature are below zero.  Please be sure your child has winter gear everyday. 
  • Please consider sending an extra sweatshirt to school with your child. If students are cold during the day they will not be allowed to wear their winter coat.  
  • We ask your help in regularly clean out your child's backpack regularly.  We ask that student do not bring toys, stuffed animals or other items that could be a distraction to learning to school.  THANK YOU
What Are We Learning

3 Reading about different cultures and traditions. Working hard on phonics through E3. Finishing up multidigit addition and beginning multidigit subtraction Social Studies- Landmarks and monuments
4 Continuing to work on United States box project - Written composition combined with social studies Beginning multi-digit multiplication. Working on reading comprehension and summarizing.
5 Reading - Just finished a unit on pros and cons of technology and future technologies. Beginning to read about the founding of the United States Finishing decimals and beginning geometry unit. Created Pong in Scratch and began animating a story. Science - science processes and practices
4/5 English Expository texts investigation. Just started unit 2 4th graders are working on algorithms for addition. 5th graders are beginning unit 3 on place value Keep signing planners. Don't forget winter clothing. Keep working on reading logs.
Fun(d)- A-Thon 
Our Fun(d) a thon is off to a great start.  Thanks for everyone who has participated at any level.  

Weekly Update: 
  • Total raised so far $7,975
  • Have have two donations that have come from outside the United States 
  • Students are working hard to slime many different staff.  
  • Tuesday, November 22nd is the last day for funds to count toward our fun day on November 23rd. 
District 742 Winter Weather Plan 
Tuesday, November 23rd students will bring home paper copies of the Flexible Learning Student Packet.  Please review this packet and put in a safe place so it is available in the event it is needed.
