High Country News - The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in Washington, D.C., held a final vote earlier this month to decide on the removal of four dams on the lower Klamath River. The vote, which follows the agency’s final environmental impact statement in late August, was unanimous in favor of removal.
Marin Independent Journal - Beginning next year, all new residential and commercial construction in Marin must be all-electric. Marin County supervisors voted unanimously on earlier this month to approve an ordinance mandating the change effective January 1st.
Utility Dive- San Diego Gas & Electric is looking to build on its early foray into vehicle-to-grid technology and announced on November 10th that it has partnered with General Motors to “investigate the feasibility of integrating bidirectional electric vehicles into the electric grid as a local energy resource.”
