The CHMS BOOK FAIR will be THIS WEEK in the MRC! The Book Fair will be open during school hours only Tuesday, 11/15 – Friday, 11/18
Additionally, the Book Fair will be open for parents to shop during Parent Teacher Conferences Monday, 11/21 and Tuesday 11/22. Stop by and grab some holiday gifts!
Each student will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their Language Arts class. Students can purchase items with cash or credit card.
We also have a few slots open for parent volunteers to help with the book fair. We’d love to see you!

CHMS PTO is excited to once again support HCS Family Services. We will be sponsoring 20 families in need this year. On Tuesday and Wednesday, during lunch periods, students will be able to pick up a gift tag with details for a specific need. If you would like to participate in our gift-giving, please talk to your student about selecting a gift tag.
Our first General PTO meeting is this Wednesday, 11/16, from 9 – 11am at the Clarendon Hills Park District. Please join us!

Kim Anderson, founder of Spotlight College Advising, will be joining the General PTO Meeting this Wednesday, November 16th (9-11am) for an enlightening presentation about the middle school years and how the decisions made in middle school can have long-term implications for your child’s high school experience and college options. This is a must for all middle school parents!

It’s pizza night on Wednesday! Take a night off of cooking and help raise money for the CHMS PTO.

20% of all purchases will go to CHMS. All menu items are included as part of the Shop N Share.

The Peer Leadership Club is sponsoring a CHMS Food Drive starting November 1-November 16, 2022. The items will be donated to the People’s Resource Center in Westmont. Please drop off your items at the CHMS Lobby. Thank you so much! Here are the following items needed:
- Tuna fish (packed in water)
- Laundry Detergent
- Vegetable Oil
- Large Juices
- Spaghetti pasta (whole wheat, regular)
A huge thank you to all families and small businesses that donated to our annual Phantom Ball! Thanks to your generosity, we met and exceeded our goal, raising $25,500 in all! If you would still like to donate, please contact treasurer@chmspto.org. All funds go to the PTO’s operating budget this school year.
Calling all 8th Graders!!! Due to HCHS graduation on 6/1, we are moving the 8th grade dinner dance to Wednesday, 5/31. Same time, 6-8p, same place, CHMS. We can’t wait to share additional details soon!
