It’s that time again when charities across the Nation hope that #GivingTuesday will be the best year ever for donations. SNAP, of course, is among the hopefuls!
This year we are doubling our goal to $7,000 for a free spay/neuter clinic in Southcrest and Otay Mesa, two communities struggling with economic disparities and lack of pet healthcare resources. These factors contribute to the ongoing cycle of pet overpopulation. The good news is that between the two clinics in these critical areas, we can sterilize up to 80 animals; thus, preventing scores of unwanted dogs and cats from coming into a miserable existence on the streets or in our local shelters.
There are three ways to give:
(1) Enter our pet photo contest with one (or more) of your pets, for just $5 per entry. The winning pet (or pets if you have more than one in the photo) will be featured on the #GivingTuesday 2023 postcard and other marketing materials. (3) Consider a matching donation of $3,500 to get us half-way there. Click HERE for more information.
