Happy Fall Families!
I am sorry for the lack of communication this semester. As you can imagine, with all of the staff changes and transitions around campus, things have been busy. We have hired a new therapist who just started last week which should help us better serve our students. The department will also be launching a new search for a Director in the next few months. Our Program Manager Hillary Hardie has been out on maternity leave most of this semester. She has been missed but we are so thrilled that she has been able to spend this time with her beautiful healthy baby girl. I think we have also still been having a semester of transition within our CRC community as students are returning from COVID restrictions and finding their place in the community. For all of these reasons, our programming has been less intensive this semester (we down scaled our Homecoming event and some of our other events). We plan to be back in full working order in the Spring. Our CRC is part of a research study with Mississippi State and Kennesaw State University about family involvement in the CRC. If you are a parent or family member of one of our students, please consider filling this out. There will be a drawing for a gift card and you are helping further our knowledge about the field of recovery.

Thank you for your patience and time. I will do my best to get back to sending more regular updates soon!
