Join us for Advent Supper and Worship every Wednesday morning at 8:45am or evening worship at 7pm.
Supper is served from 5:30-6:45 pm in the cafeteria. The cost is $5 / person, max $20/family (provided by A Tasty Touch).
Wednesday morning worship will be at 8:45am, along with the school students, Wednesdays, Nov 30 - Dec. 14, and evening Worship at 7 pm on November 30 and December 7, 14, 21.
New Sanctuary Worship Bibles – Fundraiser
The Sunday morning cafeteria adult Bible study group is using their weekly offerings and carrying out a fundraiser to buy a new set of English Standard Version (ESV) pew Bibles for our worship sanctuary.
You can buy a Bible for the sanctuary for $25 and with Thrivent support we will be able to purchase two additional Bibles. The fundraiser will be held in the narthex after both church services on Sunday, December 4, and Sunday, December 11. If you wish, we will inscribe the front inside cover of the Bible that you purchase with a donation notice with your name.
The new large print ESV pew Bibles are from Concordia Publishing House and compliment the appearance to our Lutheran Service books. All pews will have new Bibles. The ESV translation is the standard used by our synod for worship and teaching.
The Altar Guild is in need of volunteers for both services. It’s a monthly commitment and you serve either early or late service with a team member. Depending on how many teams we have, you may serve 2-3 months a year, usually the early team for that month sets up on Saturday morning, the late team cleans up after late service. Another busy month for me: 23 visits that included new friends at Wellstar's Breast Cancer Awareness Event, Wellstar's Cardiac Physicians, a Boy Scout Summit, and, of course, Faith's Trunk or Treat. It was a blast seeing all the cute costumes in our back parking lot!

Faith's Food Pantry
Thank you, Faith Church and School families! Because of everyone's donations, we delivered 165 Thanksgiving bags to Brumby on Tuesday. A Special SHOUTOUT to the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Faith who helped not only bag all the bags in plastic due to the rain, but also helped us load all the vehicles. It was all done in 15 minutes. Absolutely amazing!
Thanks to everyone for your support of the pantry. The weekly community distribution at Brumby has climbed to over 200 families weekly. Our next delivery will be December 20th. We are trying to make really heavy bags because there will not be another food distribution until January 2nd and the kids are out of school for two weeks.
The below are advertised grocery prices for Kroger, Publix, and Walmart. The sales ads run from November 16th through November 22nd.
The pantry needs peanut butter, jelly, corn bread mix (Jiffy, etc), Tuna Helper, pasta, pasta sauce, canned soups, and 2nd breakfast items like breakfast bars, pop-tarts, syrup (we have lots of pancake mix) as our shelves need to be restocked to make more bags.
