Accepting feelings we don't like without being annoyed that they exist is a key mindfulness attitude. Novelist Toni Morrison said: "I want to feel what I feel. What's mine. Even if it's not happiness, whatever that means" (in The Guardian, 8th August 2019). 

Try: When you spot a feeling you don’t like, pull back from getting annoyed at it for existing - feelings pass and are outside your direct control.
