News Summary
- The rainfall this month was enough to signal the endangered salmon to return to their spawning grounds in Lagunitas Creek. Marin Municipal Water District ecologist Eric Ettlinger said monitoring groups are expecting a sizable run of adult spawners this winter based on the number of young salmon they found in the creek three years earlier. - In October 2022, the Community Land Trust of West Marin (CLAM) purchased 35 Third Street in Point Reyes Station to be preserved as affordable, community housing.

Monday
- Pfizer Covid-19 boosters are available on a walk-in basis from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays at the West Marin Medical Center, in Point Reyes Station. For information, call (415) 663.1082.
- The Rollin’ Root produce truck sells farmers’ market produce on Mondays at the following locations in West Marin: Main Street and Dillon Beach Road in Tomales from 9 to 10 a.m., the Marshall Store from 11 a.m. to noon and Walnut Place in Point Reyes Station from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
- Nightly open gyms from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Marin School feature basketball on Mondays, indoor soccer on Tuesdays and Thursdays, volleyball on Wednesdays and soccer coaching on Fridays. All ages welcome. Sponsored by West Marin Community Services.
