Winter Wonderland in Burlington is just around the corner on December 2, 3 & 4! Three days of indoor and outdoor fun... and three days of REINDEER! Learn more about this free event on our website or by joining the Facebook event. This event relies heavily on volunteers to monitor activity areas, bounce houses, and more... if you or a high school student are looking to log some volunteer hours, you can sign up here.

Winter Break Camp registration is open! From Holiday Gift Making to Arctic Animals, there's a bit of everything to tick the 'fun and learning' box!! Course brochure and online registration link on our website. You can also sign up and pay in the Museum.

**Unexpected closures due to weather or sickness may happen with no notice**

Masked Up Monday Mornings is a weekly session that runs from 10am-12pm. Everyone in the museum will be required to wear a mask, to ensure the safety of visitors, and those who are medically fragile. Children under three, who are not able to mask, will not be able to attend this session. These sessions are made possible by generous support from the Nysether Family Foundation and the Skagit Community Foundation.

● Help Me Grow - Skagit Family Resource Center is based at the Children's Museum of Skagit County and provides basic needs items, early learning kits & connections to other services. Call or text 360 230 9129 or visit HelpMeGrowSkagit.com.
● Skagit Perinatal Support's From Expecting to The Unexpected is a weekly, drop-in peer support group for the sometimes difficult transition to parenthood! This group addresses the ups and downs of the early parenting journey from pregnancy to postpartum. Meets Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 PM from Sept. 20, 2022 through June 27, 2023 (no meeting Dec. 27, 2022) at the Children's Museum of Skagit County. Learn more here.
● United General Hospital Dist 304's LSPAN program has wonderful monthly newsletters, full of family resources! Check them out here.
● Burlington Healthy Communities Coalition has been bringing together youth and adults for over 30 years to support and promote healthy environments and opportunities for all youth to gain skills and receive positive recognition in order to prevent and reduce youth substance use. The BHCC is a partnership of schools, families, and community members representing the diversity of the broader Burlington area. Visit https://burlingtonhcc.org/ to learn more.
● Need help paying for childcare? The Emergency Child Care Voucher Program, supported by the Opportunity Council, might be able to help. Parents and caregivers can apply for temporary assistance to help pay for current or past due child care bills and to help alleviate financial crisis.
