The City of Niagara Falls is offering a variety of programs for kids and families to enjoy on the upcoming PD Day, Friday, November 25th.

Open Play
MacBain Community Centre
MacBain Community Centre Open Play is $5 per person or a $10 flat family rate for all open gym activities, including racquetball and the indoor playground. (Some age restrictions apply.)
Open Gymnasium
Join the YMCA for drop-in activities in the MacBain Community Centre gymnasium
- When: 1 – 4 pm
- Who: Ages 5 to 13 with a parent present
- Equipment provided
Racquetball Lessons
Drop-in lessons coached by Racquetball Ontario Representative Todd Bright.
- Where: Two open courts
- When: 1 – 4 pm
- Who: Ages 5 to 13, with a parent present
- Equipment provided
Indoor Playground
Explore and play in our indoor play structure.
- When: 1 – 4 pm
- Where: Indoor play structure, MacBain Community Centre
- Who: Ages 4 – 12

Mad Science
MacBain Community Centre
Mad Science FUNShops explore one fun topic in science with interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, and Mad Science take-homes for each child.
Mad Science Workshop – Bubbling Potions
This workshop will explore Bubbling Potions! Explore states of matter, and changes of state in the wildest way possible with bubbling, foaming, burping potions!

Mad Science Workshop – Slime
This workshop will explore slime! We can't get enough of polymers! Cross-bind to your heart's content as you explore chemical reactions and make slime to take home!

Magic at the Museum
Niagara Falls History Museum
Join us for some PD Day fun and magic! Scoop McCoy performs his funny and zany magic show at the Niagara Falls History Museum!
Scoop’s incredible show features lots of laughs and audience participation.
After the show, explore the Museum galleries with our Activity Book full of games and puzzles! Don’t forget your magic wand!
- Where: Niagara Falls History Museum

- First show doors open at 10 am, and the show runs from 11 am - noon
- Afternoon show doors open at 12:30 pm, and the show runs from 1 - 2 pm
- Who: All ages, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
