Global Entrepreneurship Week  is a huge, far-reaching campaign aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and innovators in every country and community around the world. The campaign began in 2008 with an emphasis on inspiring young people to make their mark and has quickly grown to become a comprehensive effort that engages entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, support organisations and others collaborating to advance economic growth and innovation in more than 180 countries around the world.

Each November, some 10 million people take part in tens of thousands of activities, competitions and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed.

Here at InnoScot Health we are shining a spotlight on the health and social care community across Scotland, encouraging them to see themselves as innovators and the enablers of vital change.
Over the last 20 years, over 2200 innovative ideas have been received and evaluated, over 250 NHS ideas protected and 7 spin-out companies established. But now in its third decade, InnoScot Health is setting its sights higher with a refreshed look and enhanced website that is making the submission of ideas from NHS staff significantly quicker and more intuitive.
Our new website offers inspiration on successful ideas originating from NHS Scotland. It provides easy access to expert advice such as intellectual property (IP), regulatory, project management and funding; and offers easy ways to get in touch with the teamWe hope you enjoy the new site and welcome your feedback to support further developments.
InnoScot Health's latest innovation funding call has launched, seeking forward-thinking ophthalmic solutions from health and social care staff across Scotland. Submit your idea online or watch our briefing event to learn more.
