Dear community of The Congregational Church, UCC in Tryon,

We are so grateful for the gifts of this community, the passion of our church, and the ways in which the Holy Spirit is guiding us to be a community rooted in "Grace in Action". So far we have received 32 pledge cards for a total of $119,885 pledged towards our mission and ministry for 2023. For reference, our budget for 2022 was $265,243.16, and together we pledged $157,280. As we continue in our 2023 Giving Campaign, honoring our value of stewardship, we are so grateful for the generosity you have shown so far!
 
We continue to pray that with God's help, we will get to where we need to be, to use our treasure to love and serve our God through our church and community. Together with God's help we are called to be world-builders, home-makers, extend welcome and hospitality, celebrate, show mercy, and do justice. We are called to generously put grace into action. We see life and energy, generosity and commitment, hope and promise in our church, and can't wait for what God has in store for us in the coming year!

Over the coming months we will be reaching out to those who have not yet pledged. Our goal is for every member and friend of the church to pledge in honor of our shared commitment and love of God. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to prayerfully fill out your 2023 Pledge Card.
