Statutory review of native vegetation
provisions of the Local Land Services Act
The Minister for Agriculture has commenced a five-year a statutory review of the native vegetation provisions of the Local Land Services Act 2013.
These provisions establish a framework to inform and regulate native vegetation management on rural land in NSW.
Local Land Services is supporting the Minister to carry out the review, with the assistance of an independent expert advisory panel.
A Discussion Paper is now on public exhibition and we are seeking your feedback. The Discussion Paper aims to help us engage with and seek feedback from landholders, community and stakeholders on the statutory review.
Please go to the Have Your Say platform, read the Discussion Paper, and provide your feedback. Submissions are open for four weeks and will close on Monday, 12 December 2022.
