Sending love from the heart of Autumn season. The pulse of desert time is one of both slowing down and speeding up. It's finally cool enough to sip hot puerh in the crisp morning light, go hiking at noon, and bake midnight snacks. Simultaneously, the ocotillos are dropping their leaves, the chaparral shifts from lustre to matte, and the wild cotton foliage emboldens in fiery tones- the impulse is one of gravity and quietude. Autumn has always been my most creative time of year, and I sense it's this very sensation of the pendulum swing moving me.
