RUF Friendsgiving: We still need some sides!

We have been honored with a request to prepare Thanksgiving side dishes for students attending RUF Friendsgiving this Friday, November 18. A group of 40 is expected. Please sign up to indicate what you intend to prepare and plan to drop your dish at CPC at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Please bring your food in a disposable dish if possible. Questions? Oviedo Community Thanksgiving Service

Please join us for the Oviedo Community Thanksgiving Service, taking place Tuesday, November 22 at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Oviedo (FUMCO). We'll join Christian congregations from all over Oviedo for a time of worship and gratitude. Pastor Randy will be a participant in the service and all are welcome!

Thanksgiving Leftover Potluck

Please make plans to join us for a potluck lunch following worship services on Sunday, November 27. Please feel free to bring in your favorite leftovers from Thanksgiving to put together a delicious lunch and time of fellowship together. Questions? Reach out to Holly Clow or Steph Ilderton.

Here are a few upcoming events we think you should know about. More information will be shared as the dates approach.

November 27: Advent begins. Each Sunday during Advent, we will light a candle to help us remember the story of Jesus' birth and the hope it brings to the world.

December 11 at 6 p.m.: Covenant Campfire Christmas. Our annual holiday gathering.

December 24: Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols. Our annual candlelight service in celebration of the coming King and marking the move from Advent to Christmastide by lighting the final Advent candle.
