As we wind up 2022, we reflect on the vast number of activities the library has been pleased to present, host or partner with other community organisations.
We've had visiting authors, special story time sessions, the sketchbook project, summer reading quest, mapping, poetry, book sculpture and resilience through art workshops, parenting workshops, tech help sessions, school visits, book week, science week, recycling week and that week that we rearranged the library!
There is certainly something for everyone at the library with plenty planned for 2023.
With Christmas just around the corner, for some this means a relaxing holiday and perhaps some extra time to enjoy a good read. Be sure to visit the library and stock up for your holidays.
For others, this time of year brings another level of busy with entertaining visitors and finding things for the kids to do. If you're looking for a break from the hot sun, pop into the library for some quiet time. The kids will be entertained browsing the collection or sign up for the Summer Reading Quest.
